A couple of cards

I still don't have a scanner, did get on Freecycle but it doesn't like XP so for now I am taking pictures with my phone or camera so the quality isn't as good as I would like.
Anyway I have done 2 cards today, took me a while to get into the swing as I haven't made too many cards lately and my mojo has got a little rusty.
I have left off sentiments as I have run out of "any occasion" cards.
I have used SU cardstock for the base of both cards, the blue card I have used my most recent rubber stamp purchase from Funky Kits, designed by Leanne Ellis called daydreamer, coloured with watercolour pens and finished with Sakura stardust pens, I have gone a little OTT with the K&Co grand adhesions (I am waiting for some prima flowers to arrive in the post).
The other card is pink but looks more orange and I have used a Cuddly Buddly Stamp also coloured with pens and matted onto a nestie.

Mothers Day Card

I have been a bad blogger lately, not my fault. our main computer hasn't been working well (now we have another one) and the scanner has died. The only way I can get pictures of any cards at the moment is either with my phone or camera, neither gives as good pictures as a scan so I am afraid the quality isn't so good.
Anyway I did Mum a card for Mothers Day, she actually came over one Sunday. It was also Kathryn's 12 th birthday, she had a fab day, as did I , MrSpook was a busy bee all day running around after his girls.
Used a cuddly buddly stamp, the background paper is one of the florish papers from Pink Petticoat and are to die for.
Anyway its getting closer to the easter holidays so I am busy at the moment preparing lots of die cuts for the holidays.

A little shabby

This is a card I had in my stash for a few weeks. Kathryn came home yesterday to tell me one of her classmates is leaving and she chose to give her this card.
It's very pink as you can see lol and has a shabby chic/distressed look.
Background is a SU double sided card stock mat is inked leather embossed card, gingham card, zug zag edges are trimmed done from a Sizzix Zig Zag frame and I have used foam pads to raise them.
I have also used SU chocolate chip ink pad too add a more distressed look.
Sentiment is a sticker from a craft mag freebie.Edge of my card has been coloured with a dew drop chalk ink pad (my favs)
More cards to be scanned later.

Quick Cards

I don't seem to have had a lot of time recently to do crafting but still I had to make cards.
Anyway the last QVC craft day I bought the TSV with so many cards to make and not a so much time to make them I went for the Music and Dance kit, I have read some people didn't rate it but for the price and the amount I had to buy it.
Here are a couple of cards I have made with the kit. The Ballroom themed one is for a friend of Kathryn who has danced from a young age,her Mum also danced when she was younger and actually went to the same dance club as I did (yes I did dancing for a while when I was younger, mainly Latin).
Anyway it appears sping has sprung, the daffs are out, first blossom on the trees, crocuses already gone and I saw my first Tulips today.
Hopefully I can get some more crafting done soon.
