Fathers Day Card

Another card finished, this time for my Dad for Fathers Day. I do find it hard to do male cards, my Dad sails and I have before used a sailing or nautical theme but I seem to have run out of embellishments (I should look out for some stamps).
Another C5 card, my favorite size at the moment.
The stamped image has been stamped on acetate and then attached to some gold mirror card, lots of matting and layering . I have used my new sizzix photocorner die to finished it off.
Anyway I scanned the image as usual and played around with my photo editing so the mirror card doesn't just come out black.
Hope he likes it

Cute Tilda

Another card I have made for the school summer fair (this is only the 2nd Tilda card I have made for the school fair).
The papers I have used have all been printed from the Canon scrapbooking website (lots of lovely freebies including origami papers).
Tilda was coloured in with a combination of regular and watercolour pencils and mounted on gold mirror card (which always seems to scan black).
If anyone knows how to get mirror card to scan the right colour and not black please let me know lol

Girls cards

Here are a couple of cards I have done for the school summer fair, I decided it would be easier to do one theme at a time then I dont need so much stash out. I have gone for quick and easy cards so I can get more done in a short space of time.

Sew far Sew good

I have put paper & card aside for a while in favour of my trusty sewing machine, shes been a little neglected of late and the girls have a school summer fair next month so I had to contibute. I decided on making some carrier bag holders, I made one for myself last year, very easy to make and a great way of keeping carrier bags all in one place.
My Mum has yet again excelled herself and is making a quilt for the school to raffle, I have also started work on making some cards to sell on the craft stall (to be manned by me)....I will get some scanned soon for my next post.
Anyway here are some of my bag holders.
