New Home Card

A very simple card, this is for my brother, his girlfriend and my nephew who moved easter weekend.
The background is from a small scrapbooking pack I got last year on the Isle of Wight. I used one of my sizzix dies to make the house with added detail in the windows, acetate, paper and card to give the effect of windows with curtains.
Message was mounted on somecard which I ran through my big shot machine with a texture plate, mounted on some gold mirror card, letters also cut on the big shot.
I replenished my stock of cards yesterday, 200 with envelopes (4 packs 4 diff sizes), so that should last me a little while lol

Birthday Card For My Mum

It's Mum's birthday next week 23rd April, St George's day. I decided I would use some of my stash of papers and embellishments, I don't use embellishments too much but I really need to start using up some of my crafting stash, the cupboard under the stairs is full I now have boxes under my craft table and on the living room floor.
I used some silicone glue to lift the cupcakes. I think she will like it.
Anyway girls are coming home from France today so I can give it to her later.
I have used a C5 card, I really enjoy having more space to play with, must get some more.
Anyway here it is.

I used some fantasy film on the insert for the leaves and some of the butterflies.

Chipboard Page

I have done a chipboard page with some of my stuff from Ally Pally, I am making the most of the time I have with the girls away in France.
Used the stamps I got from the workshop some of my adirondack ink pads (butterscotch and espresso) and some buttons from my stash.
I have signed up for this months card & tag swaps on CSF so will be busy starting those today.

My workshop Tag

This suffered on the way home I didnt realise it got a little wet, luckily not too much damage, I had to stick the elements back on when I got home. I also covered the watch face in crackle accents to give it a different finish.
I just loved the mica paints that we used, I didnt get any on the day as I wasnt feeling so well but they are on my list of things to buy. The colours are just lush and the chipboard is great too and so cheap.
The scan really shows the shimmer but the colours are not quite as dark.

A Tilda Tag

I covered my tag in alcohol inks, then painted over perfect pearls to give a shimmer,I then stamped the tilda and phrase (rubberneckers) I then used my gold metallic mixative and put quite a lot of that over the top. The flower was cut from mountboard with my Bigz Daisy Die and dabbed with the same alcohol ink and gold mixative then stamped over with the phrase stamp. The top of the flower has been finished with crackle accents and some self adhesive ribbon coloured with wild plum adirondack ink. The edges of the tag have been distressed and then inked with wild plum again.
The picture comes up darker than the actual colour.

New Tilda Cards

I got myself another Tilda Card at Ally Pally yesterday, I decided to try 2 different colour schemes so went for pinks & blues.
I still haven't found my fav watercolour pencils so having to use my daughter's instead.
I have also used some shimmer paper on each card, I thought it would make a change from mirror or pearlescent card (and it seems to scan better too).
Sorry I still havent cleaned the scanner.

Chipboard Tag

After a not so great day at Ally Pally yesterday (bad headache but still spent money) I decided to have a play with some of my new stuff.
After doing my workshop using the coated chipboard tags, I loved the stuff so much I brought 9 packs.
This is my 2nd of 2 today but the first one will have to wait as Ive used some crackle accents so won't be ready to scan until tomorrow.
The stamp I used was one I got yesterday from Rubbernecker (only 50p unmounted) the shoes from my button stash and the ribbon from a local pound shop. I have inked the tag using a make up sponge with adirondack brights in raspberry, wild plum and purple twilight, which I then sanded lightly then distressed the edges and inked them with purple twilight.

A Trio of ATCs

I decided I should do some ATCs for my trip to Ally Pally tomorrow. I received a load of stamps today and has a play. Some came from an ebay supplier and some from the USA from a fab company called Viva Las Vegas Stamps. I could spend hours browsing at their site, they have all sorts of themes including famous people (I have a John Lennon Stamp) and even some very naughty ones.
I decided to be a little saucy/cheeky with 3 of them one is titled Never mess with a hormonal woman (see if you can guess which one that is), its just how I feel sometimes, the image I thi makes the woman look like a goddess (which we know we all are).
The otehr too are just a litle cheeky, and no that rubber stamp wasn't modelled on me (I wouldnt want to cause a rubber shortage).
Anyway Im already for tomorrow leaving at 8 looking forward to my workshop with Jennie & Hels and hope to meet some more crafting buddies too.

CSF Birthday Book

At CSF we have a birthday challenge at the moment, envelopes are being decorated in various themes which are being made and auctioned to raise money for charity.
As well as being in an assigned team (7th Heaven..our theme is bugs & critters) our Little Green Dragon has asked for help in making another book with the title "Going Postal".
So this morning while the girls watched early morning TV and I was waiting for the shopping to arrive I had a play and here is the result.
