Yet another Tilda Card
I promise this will be the last Tilda card of a while lol
I used 2 colours of adirondack ink pads applied with a sponge.
Image has been stamped on plain cream card then in coloured pearlescent card and cut out over the top. Just thought I would have a play see how it looked.
Card has been finished with some ribbon which I have inked to match. The flower is cut from a large Sizzix Daisy Die and finished with one of my bargain designer brads.

Another Tilda Card
It's my oldest daughter's 11th birthday this Saturday. I'm not sure where the time has gone, my baby came into the world not making a sound or a movement weighing 10lb 12oz now she is turning into a young lady who is mad on her Tv soaps, loves make up and thinks Leona Lewis is the best thing ever.
Anyway she may be growing up but she loves Tilda so I had to put her on the card.
Got some bargains today 12 designer brads (one used), 2 large packs of handmade papers, 8 large cards with matching envelopes, stickers, all for just 1 pound each (AB Superstores in Ealing near Christchurch if you are in the area lol).
Apart from the gems in each corner, the tag and the tilda stamp the rest is from todays bargains. Just coloured the card with some adirondack ink (raspberry from the brights) using a make up sponge and the rest you can gather.
Anyway Happy Easter to all and Happy Birthday to Kathryn.

My First Tilda
I have been without an internet connection for a whole week...and what a long week it was, it's amazing how much we have come to rely on the internet for so many things. I was so happy to see that little green light on my router this morning.
Anyway just a few days before we lost contact with the outside world I ordered my first Tilda Stamp and have been having a play.
My darling daughters always ask me to make cards for classmates so when my oldest asked me to do a card for her best friend out came Tilda.
My craft stash is a mess at the moment and I couldn't find my pencils so I had to make to with borrowing the girls (in return for me giving them a pile of tilda stamped images for them to colour in)
So here it is my first tilda card, I have 2 more made ready for the next girly birthdays,

Rhapsody in Blue
Yet again I have recived inspiration from Craft Swap Forum.
Thank you to BROWNBEAR for posting a link to a video showing how you can emboss little dots using a crop a dile.
I of course had to have a play straight away as my 'dile is always at hand.
I decided to use blue as my theme so just embossed all over my blue atc and then used a blue ink pad to highlight my little bubbles. I then raided my fabric stash as I have a large collection of blue & white print fabric care of a lovely person on freecycle who was saving lots of swatches for a blue & white project they just never got around to starting. This was placed on the atc and then it was just finished with a word from my words to go box by K&CO and a couple of adhesive gems.
So here it is
Back after a while
I seem to have been so busy crafting and doing other things I appear to have forgotten all about my crafting blog.
Everyone seems to be doing one now and it's about time I kept mine up to date.
As usual my craft table is a mess.
Yesterday I decided to play with my newest toy, my Bind It All. I wanted to try a fabric on the cover. I raided my stash of fabric (I have quite a lot as I also do patchwork and quilting when I can) and found a lovely pink floral with a oriental feel.
As my parents have not long returned from a long trip which included a week in Tokyo, I decided to make a small book for my Mum as a late Mother's Day present (my parents are at the moment on a weeks holiday in Spain).
It took quite a while, the cover was made using mount board which I covered with the fabric before putting into the bind it all (I wouldn't do it again as it was quite thick and the BIA only just managed to punch the holes ). Next time I would probably just use thick card and cover that with fabric.
Anyway here is a picture of the cover, finished with some gold braid, fabric flowers and an adhesive gem and some fibres in the wires.
