Simples!

I was browsing this morning and found Sandra Dry Digi-Stamps and this fella popped out. It is one of our favorite ads on TV and even makes Mr Spook giggle.
Anyway you can find the download here
Papers used K&Co Roam, adhesive lace from stash, sentiment (what else can you use lol) printed on the computer.

Elvis Shaker Card

Another card done using my new Hollywood Greats CD.

I am still having to do only B&W stuff as my new ink hasn't arrived yet (hopefully tomorrow).

I have been playing with the cd and have a few things to print off.

Anyway this is my first shaker card, just used a few black & silver star sequins to keep to the colour scheme and theme.

My neighbour is a big fan of Elvis, her birthday isn't for a while but she will love it.

Hollywood Greats Part 2

This is a B&W card, done as a sort of challenge from someone on Twitter.

The picture shows my Husband who is sporting a goatee beard at the moment. Myself and the girls are trying to get him to shave it off, his has a campaign running on Twitter to keep it (just giggle),

Anyway when one of our Twitter friends saw my last card he suggested I make a card with the goatee on it.

Anyway I like a challenge so here it is.

I plan to do a coloured version when I get more ink,

All images and saying from the Hollywood Greats CD.

Hollywood Greats Thank You

I received my Hollywood Greats My Craft Studio Cd this morning, I was due to do some die cutting, but couldn't resist having a peek which led to having a play.

So I printed out a few bits and pieces for a Thank You card for my Nan.

I have to say this is the best one yet, I just love the images, lots of scope for men and woman, I can see a lot of girly cards being made, even for the youngsters who may not even know much about old Hollywood (My girls won't even watch anything in Black & White).

I will have to wait to do anything more as my colour ink is nearly out but more is on order.

Cards for Mum

It is my Mum's birthday on the 23rd, I did the cards when the girls were away.

One card I have used my Music & Dance kit from QVC the other one a Cuddly Buddly stamp (yes I know again but I like it).

The girls had a fab week away on the Isle of Wight, normal services have been resumed (Lots of noise, more mess and less crafting)., I need to get some "male" cards done (I have managed 2 including one for Fathers day though.

Waiting for an order of cardstock this week before I think about making some more cards, I want to get some die cutting done so I have a few mats ready (nesties, atc blanks)

New Home Card

I was busy in the middle of a cardmaking session yesterday when Mr Spook texted me asking me if I could do a card for friends who have just moved.

No sooner said than done. The image I already had stamped and coloured using pastels, coloured roughly using my pinky.

Everything from my stash, I just love the self adhesive letters, I think I got them in a big kit last year, I just love the font.

I have done quite a few cards the last 2 days but I have had enough today , time to tidy things away until tomorrow.

A Little Owl Card

I just love these owls, birds seem to be popular in papercrafting at the moment. This little guy is from Papermania's secret garden set of stamps, a set great for all kinds of cards, male and female.

, I didnt colour him in, hes just stamped onto card cut with my nesties die, matted on another nestie shape finished with a sentiment and some peel offs which I have shaped to look a little bit like branches on a tree.

I have already done some crafting today, altering a photo frame, just a simple wooden one from Ikea, once the silicone is dry I will get a picture done.

Off to make some more cards now.

Fantasy card Fairies and a Unicorn

The girls are away so I have had more time to myself. This morning while Mr Spook was out and about I spent some time playing with my Walk in Wonderland CD. I printed the images onto glossy photo paper. The flowers are taken from a Shabby Princess download, printed and them layered finished with a gem in the centre, I spent a but of time yesterday making a few up just to embellish the cards I made today.

I have used some handmade papers that have been sitting in my drawer for ages. Anyway I am quite happy with them, I just need to do inserts tomorrow.

Hopefully I will also get some more cards done tomorrow, I want to make the most of the time the girls are away.

Easter Cards

I have made 2 easter cards, one for my Nan who is religious so no bunnies or chicks, it is a simple card the images taken from My Craft Studio the main image from Walk in Wonderland the cross a free easter pack from the website.

The other card is for my parents the background, bunny and sentiment are from My Craft Studio and I have finished the card with some fibres, paper lace, adhesive pearls and prima flowers.

With the girls going away tomorrow I am hoping to spend some time next week replenishing my stock of made cards.

Anyway I need to go and finish off the girl's suitcase then get cracking with making a pizza.

Happy Easter

Mr Spook's Birthday Cards

It is Mr Spook's birthday today, I made 2 cards, one from myself and one I did for the girls.

The image on the card from me is of the late Joe Strummer of The Clash (One of his fav bands of all time), the girls card is made from elements from the Music and Dance kit from QVC.

I have finally got a working scanner again thanks to a local lady via Freecycle so images are better.

The girls go away tomorrow to stay with my parents on The Isle of Wight so I have had a busy day sorting and ironing clothes ready to pack a little later.

I have also made a couple of Easter cards, pictures to follow soon.

Have a Happy Easter all.

Simpsons card for a 12 year old

The boy next door is 12 on Friday (also Hubbies Birthday), he is a big fan of The Simpsons so that's the theme I used for the card.

Used an image I found online, backing papers are from The Walk in Wonderland disk 1 and I found a Simpsons style font online (what did we do before the Internet?).

Anyway I hope he likes it, I have done 2 other cards but won't post them until after he has received them in case he sees them beforehand.

Just have some presents to wrap.

The girls are on Easter break at the moment and at home until Saturday then they are spending a week with my parents on the Isle of Wight so hopefully I will get some more crafting done, the girls had a busy day crafting yesterday, Kathryn using my Big Shot machine, Aimee decorating a small canvas, now it's my turn yay!
Don't forget to Crafty C's blog candy (see the post before this one) you have until 18th April to enter.

A new card and another finished

I had a morning of waiting for the carpet man so decided to do some crafting. Used some of my new prima flowers to finish off one of the cards in my last post, Aimee has a party on Saturday for a school friend , I have also personalised the card, she has an unusual name so probably doesn't receive much with her name on it and kids at that age just love personalised things.
Also dod another card to join in with the anything goeschallenge on Craft Swap Forum, the theme was Butterflies. I used a stamp that was given to me by a Freecycler. coloured with water colour pens, the backing paper came first and the rest just followed.
Still have bad pictures, I cant find a driver for the scanner we got on Freecycle, but will keep looking.
Kathryn has broken up for the Easter break today, Aimee tomorrow so I can't see me crafting the next week, I know Kathryn wants to have a play with my die cut machine, I think she's old enough to use the old Sizzix machine now, I might even see if I can get her to make a card/
